I have had a terrible time with mice this year, so it could be my house if I left the butter out. I went to Home Depot to get traps yesterday and the clerk told me that they were completely sold out! Apparently all the rain has sent them inside, much to my dismay.
HAHA. I have an image of a little kid clutching a stick of butter in both hands making yummy sounds as he devours this delicious mass of fat! Perhaps glancing side to side to make sure no one else tries to steal his treat.
It’s Eli. And while I love Corinne’s images, I think he was walking by, saw the butter, said to himself, “Oh! Butter!” and just took a bite. I know it was Eli because when I saw the butter, I said, “What mouse ate the butter?” and he ‘fessed up immediately.
I’m sure that’s cheese, but on my screen, it looks like butter. Which makes your post (and your point) even more amusing.
