Giveaway! Signed copy of Snappsy just in time for summer reading!

Hi everyone! Summer is almost here, a time of…what was it? Sun? No. Sand? Heavens no. Surf? Oh please.

A time of READING! Everyone knows summer is time to sign up for your library’s summer reading program, and making yourself a nice sturdy book fort to read your way through. So many great books to tackle!

Need some help starting that fort? Enter below for a chance to win a signed copy of my picture book, Snappsy the Alligator (Did Not Ask to Be in This Book). It’s just right for silly summertime fun, plus Everyday Reading says it’s worth getting up early for, and Scary Mommy says you won’t mind reading it 957 times at bedtime, so maybe it’ll be the only book in your book fort, and that’ll be just fine.

Just recently discovered Snappsy. I even read it to my college students. Love it! Excited about this giveaway.

A couple favs this summer are Max the Brave, The Book Ate My Dog, and How to Share with a Bear.

    Thanks.

I LOVE that you read Snappsy to your college students! And I love the first two books you mentioned, but haven’t read How to Share with a Bear — must inter-library loan immediately! (Or, wait, after I — AHEM! — pay some library fines that I apparently have.) Thanks for the recommendation!

Would love to own a copy of Snappsy, Julie! This is a great mentor text! It gives me hope that maybe one day one of my rule breakers might make it, too. 🙂

    Hi Julie!

I love this book and I bring my picture books into my middle school language arts class. The Tweens are lovin it too. My dog Jack can always sniff out a good book too, and his nose was all over this one? I’d love a copy, my Tweens would love that I have a copy for them and my dog Jack would love a copy too???.
    Thanks!

I am just as excited about your dog loving it as your tweens loving it.

As a kid I loved reading my old school books do I’d have to say a summer favorite is Dick and Jane books. If I don’t win this I’m going to have to buy a copy because our Random Acts summer activities include giving a kids book to our local library. And Snappsy is our choice!

I am definitely on board with that Random Act! So much fun! What are some of the other Random Acts??
