I have been informed by my mother that “we want more Zuzu.” I reminded her, as I remind you, that Zuzu usually doesn’t show up in photos because she’s either strapped to my front or to my back, but I do occasionally put her down and let her roam freely. So here are two photos from the last few days, to let you know that yes, she is just as cute as ever.
Her latest fun is this kind of protocrawling that involves very elaborate wiggling and reaching to get to where she wants to go. She’s very good at it and while it might seem inefficient to the casual observer, she actually gets around pretty fast. And if you leave her in a room and then go do something, when you come back she will be somewhere else entirely (which can be a little jarring if you don’t see her right away, and you were only gone for 30 seconds).
Zuzu makes it official: all of our children like beets.
She was very proud of herself for getting over to the puzzle rack, taking some puzzles out, and pulling out the pieces. (I was pretty impressed too.)
Oh my, she is just adorable….those Falatko kids big blue eyes. Your library looks uber organized.
What a cutie you’ve been hiding from us!!!!
Such a beauty!
She can keep the beets, though. Blech.
Anne, I’m shocked. Who doesn’t like beets?
And Mom, I think the library is the only room in the house that is uber organized, but that’s because there’s not that much stuff in it.
I don’t like beets. Though I did when I was a kid. It’s nowhere near capers on the food-hatred scale, though.
I thought of you last night as I was sprinkling crispy fried capers on top of my pasta.
