Or realize that if I put my hair in a ponytail bun at night, before bed, in the dark, and then sleep with it, that in the morning I will not look like Helena Bonham Carter in A Room with a View. Even if it feels like it looks soft and romantic. Instead, it’s really just lopsided and sloppy. The look will say something more like Exhausted Psychopath.
