Your Weekly Zuzu

by | Mar 19, 2009 | Zuzu | 10 comments

Every week I try to come up with some kind of “New Zu Revue” joke, and it never happens. It’ll come.

Make sure you notice Zuzu’s adorable pink sweater, courtesy of Sarah. I think it’s the first article of Zuzu’s clothing that I actively covet.

Every time I see her profile, I kind of want to pop her nose into my mouth and chew on it.

She is so delicious in tights. Really, its hard not to just chew on her all day.

Zuzu’s latest cute habit is to imitate the sound of laughing if we all laugh at something. She gets that this is something we all do together, but doesn’t quite get the joke, so she just joins in with a “ho ho ho ho!”

So cute. People pay lots of money for a nose like that. And those chunky legs in tights…she is beautiful!

I’m sure she’s going to have all kinds of memories of Dave and I just gnawing on her. The blue dress is an awesome Hanna Andersson hand-me-down from Sutswana. I love the Hanna hand-me-downs because they’re still always in new condition, even if you’re like the 12th person to get them.

Kate, I think that can be arranged!

Julie–Is it possible that our daughters are twins in an alternate reality???…..my daughter Sophie looks just like your daughter Zuzu (I’ll send you a photo sometime!)…..Love your site by the way–I am fairly new to it (found you in a desperate quest to de-clutter my house with two kids)and am finding lots of little inspirations here and there–thanks so much–keep writing–it’s fun!

    Peace,

Lisa, send me a picture! She also looks a lot like her second cousin Nora (my cousin’s baby). How old is Sophie?

    Hi Julie–

Sophie/Sophia (we are kind of crazed going back and forth with the name thing…) just turned one on March 12. I also have a four year old daughter Nia/Antonia born December 31, 2004….

    Peace,
    Lisa

Sophie is three months older than Zu. It’s funny how Sophie and Sophia are totally different people. One of the reasons we named Henry Henry is that he could be Henry or Hank, which are very different people (he’s SO not a Hank, now, but who knows when you’re holding that squidgy little newborn?).
